shortly after sending off the villalobos’ gallery, i received the sweetest most genuine message. above is just a small excerpt of it, but i wanted to share it w you all .
for me it was the best reminder that my work, photography, taking photos, goes FAR beyond the photos themselves .
i love getting to connect w my clients & i also understand that the photos i take hold value to some extent, but it’s easy to forget that there is so much more going on behind the lens. you all have stories. you all are walking through different seasons. maybe difficult ones, or maybe joyous ones - seasons none the less & they each matter. maybe having your photos taken is an escape from the pain or maybe it’s in celebration of something you’ve been waiting patiently for -
& i am honored to be the one to encapsulate the raw, meaningful moments within each of your lives .

Walked away from this session feeling grateful for photography & the WONDERFUL clients that I am blessed to work with. It was evident that these two enjoy every second together shared together — love chasing after the happy in this life & with smiles on their faces, they were up for anything & everything I asked of them. I loved what the three of us were able to create together, so of course I wanted to share a tid-bit more with you all. Not only did this session allow room for me to just let go & give space for my creativity to flow, but I gained two of the kindest friends! Couldn’t ask for more from a session. xx
